Breakfast for Champions: The Retention Economy - Why Belonging Is a Business Strategy (SOLD OUT!)

Tuesday, March 17, 2026 (8:00 AM - 10:00 PM) (PDT)

Description

Join us for this Breakfast for Champions session to explore why belonging is not just a cultural initiative; but a measurable and results-driven business strategy. As retention directly impacts performance, operational costs, and organizational stability, today’s leaders can no longer absorb the financial and operational impact of turnover. This conversation will examine how strengthening employee belonging improves engagement, accelerate productivity, supports innovation, and ultimately enhances customer and client outcomes.

This session will feature a panel of women leaders from diverse sectors who are redefining retention by placing belonging at the center of their leadership and organizational strategies. Through practical, real-world examples, panelists will share how inclusive leadership and equitable practices strengthen talent pipelines, build institutional knowledge, and build adaptable, future-ready workforces.

Participants will leave with actionable insights on cultivating trust, psychological safety, and meaningful connection—especially during challenging economic times—so organizations can grow by developing and retaining their workforce rather than constantly replacing them.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Understand why belonging is a measurable business strategy that directly impacts retention, performance, and organizational costs.
  • Apply inclusive leadership and equitable practices to strengthen employee engagement, trust, and psychological safety.
  • Reduce preventable turnover and associated costs by cultivating workplace cultures where employees feel valued, connected, and motivated to contribute and stay.
  • Lead teams effectively during challenging economic times by fostering resilience, reinforcing belonging, and building meaningful connection that sustains performance and morale.

This session is for HR professionals, senior leaders, managers, directors, DEI-B and organizational culture managers.
