Nikki Chen, Business Partner

City of Vancouver, Office of Equity & Inclusion

Nikki Chen is a speaker, coach, and co-founder of Sprinkle, a BIPOC centered wellness organization for women in Southwest Washington. Nikki is also the Business Partner for the Office of Equity and Inclusion at the City of Vancouver. Nikki uses her leadership platform to create long lasting equitable change for everyone in the community. She does not take her seat at these tables for granted and she uses her voice to uplift and encourage positive change. Once she is done creating a safe and inclusive space for all, Nikki hopes to retire on the shores of Puerto Vieja, Costa Rica with her husband and three children.

With over 20 years of experience in the financial industry—15 of those in leadership—I am passionate about fostering inclusive, people-centered financial and employment solutions. I have been with iQ Credit Union for four years and recently joined the Inclusion & Belonging Advisory Group, reflecting my commitment to creating spaces where everyone feels valued and welcome. A graduate of both Leadership Spokane and Leadership Portland, I am a fierce advocate for inclusivity, equity, and advocacy, actively supporting organizations such as the ACLU, ORPIB, NAACP, and INBA and SIMBA (Spokane-based). Dedicated to continuous learning, I actively pursue education and growth in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging to drive meaningful change in my industry and community.  


Michael Jones Jr., People Operations, Culture and Belonging Manager

Vancouver Housing Authority

Michael Jones Jr., leads People Operations, Culture, and Belonging at the Vancouver Housing Authority; prior to he worked at Xometry Inc., a global publicly traded company where he grew the company from under 50 people to over 1,500 globally  responsible for Talent Acquisition, Diversity Equity Inclusion, Corporate Social Responsibility and Philanthropy . A licensed and ordained reverend, served at Mount Aery Baptist Church in Bridgeport, CT, and New Bethel Baptist Church in Washington, DC, overseeing ministries for all generations. Committed to service, truth, and justice; currently a Board Member and Trustee for the Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport, CT, Board Member for iUrbanTeen, and Chair of the Legal Redress and Civil Rights Committee for the NAACP. A passionate advocate for social justice; recognized as a 2022 Fellow for the Forum for Theological Education and a 2023 Social Justice Fellow for the Greater Washington Community Foundation. Holds a Master of Divinity, studying at Howard University School of Divinity and at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University and completed undergraduate studies at Temple University. Through his multifaceted roles in ministry, professional leadership, and community engagement, Rev. Jones continues to inspire transformative change and promote justice, equity, and belonging in every sphere he serves.  


Cadie Dye, Director of Strategy

PointNorth

As Director of Strategy at PointNorth, Cadie leads thoughtful organizational development strategy and guides teams towards meaningful change. She is an intentional listener, thoughtful facilitator, community connector, and passionate about understanding what drives people and organizations. Her experience includes developing and facilitating strategic planning processes, strategizing and facilitating team and community engagements and creatively curating strategic communications. With her social service and workforce development background, she applies an inclusive lens to her approach. She is committed to people-centered processes that drive fair outcomes.
